Part of the new hull design includes special running surface contours that extend beneath both sides of the swim platform and create virtually three-point contact with the water at high speeds. As a result, when properly trimmed, most of the hull is truly riding on air. The 195LR performs so nicely that, with a light load, it runs nearly 60 mph with a V-6 engine.
