OWNERS COMMENTS:
This 21' Outrage is one of the more recent models before Boston Whaler completely revamped this model. The new 2002 model is stripped down, lighter, has smaller sides, is not as sturdy and has less standard horsepower than the 2001, and there are no trim tabs on the newer models. This 21' has the ride of a 23'. This boat is excellent for inshore and offshore fishing, cruising, tubing, skiing, etc. However, this craft has NEVER BEEN IN SALTWATER. It's an all around versatile boat. Although this is a 1999 model, this boat has low hours (Only 15 hrs in the last two years!). The owner has been deployed overseas in combat theater. The Mercury is the Saltwater OptiMax XL model, which is the most expensive and most reliable of the 2-stroke motor series. This model is also 2006 compliant with the new EPA emission standards! Boat has always been stored on hyra-hoist system out of the water, and never run in salt water.
