Description
The Beneteau 37 is one of the most recent releases to the Beneteau series of
performance cruisers, including four larger models launched over the last year.
Combining the latest nautical designs from Groupe Finot, whose 30 years of expertise
has led to the creation of thousands of elegant sailboats around the world, with
striking interior styling by the Milan-based talents of Nauta Design, the 37 offers sleek,
taunt lines, impressive accommodations and innovative features, such as a patented
hide-away companionway slide.
While style and luxury were key goals in the creation of the Beneteau 37, the
overriding, primary objective was to not waver from the boat?s true purpose: fast
stable sailing aboard an easy to handle boat. To reach that goal, Finot includes a
generous beam with substantial stability to offer the powerful, short overlapping
genoa sailplan a platform to easily generate speed.
The spacious cruising cockpit is efficient and easy to move about, with plenty of room
to navigate around the helm and its smart electronic component console which allows
for plotting at the wheel. The cockpit also features a unique lifting liferaft/gear locker.
Beneteau innovation can also be found in the patented, integrated companionway
door/slide, which allows for easy access below.
The forward cabin is truly a ?stateroom? on a 37-footer, with more floor space or
storage than one would expect along with excellent headroom, ventilation, and a big
comfy berth.
Thanks to the Beneteau 37?s low and modern roof line featuring two large panoramic
windows and skylights plus 12 other sources for natural light, the salon maintains a
THE BENETEAU 37 bright, airy feel. When mated with the crisp, clean lines of Nauta?s styling the 37
presents striking ambience and modern sophistication.
In the interior, some highlights have an amazing effect on the look and comfort of the
cabin. In the galley; intentionally very seamanlike and fully-equipped with plenty of
storage space; the paired sinks are mounted fore and aft adding space without
sacrificing function.
