The 3888 Flybridge Sedan Motoryacht Series redefines cruising for midsize yachts. At Bayliner (Division of Brunswick Boat Group), the designers believe in using space creatively, and this gem of naval architecture manages to incorporate all the cruising features you desire without sacrificing valuable onboard living space. The 3888 provides galley amenities such as full-size stove/ oven, refrigerator/ freezer, and lots of storage; she features innerspring pillow top mattresses in both her master stateroom with queen-size berth and guest stateroom with large double berth; and her saloon has premium-gloss teak wood finish and plush cut-pile carpeting. You won?t find another 3888 with all the add-ons and custom upgrades that this boat has, including upgraded carpeting, upgraded upholstery, custom dinette table, custom teak-and-holly flooring (master head, galley, and dinette), new Raymarine multifunction navigation system, upgraded electrical/ water systems, and upgraded engine features. The boat is an excellent value as the owners have spared little expense to keep her well maintained and thoughtfully equip her with top-of-the-line everything!

Accommodations: Overnight accommodations are provided for seven passengers in four berths (master stateroom queen-size berth, guest stateroom double berth, convertible dinette/ queen-size berth, and flybridge single berth). Interior layout includes forward master stateroom with ensuite head, Jack and Jill bathtub (adjoins guest stateroom head and master stateroom), port guest head, port guest stateroom, starboard down galley, and raised pilothouse/ saloon. The interior cabin is inviting and offers plenty of room for entertaining guests. It has 6? 4? headroom and fixtures including 12-volt DC lighting, 110-volt AC electrical outlets, forced air central heating, upgraded carpeting, curtains, blinds, upgraded upholstery, decorator wall coverings, pillows, bed linens, custom teak-and-holly flooring (master head, galley, and dinette), and teak trim.

The dual stateroom/ dual head layout provides private sleeping quarters and storage areas for two couples on extended voyages. The master stateroom is equipped with queen berth, overhead sunlight/ escape hatch, four opening ports, built-in portside wardrobe locker and drawer, starboard hanging locker, four under-berth wardrobe drawers, access to ensuite head to port, access to Jack-and-Jill bathtub to starboard, and privacy door (enters to galley). The master stateroom ensuite head is equipped with vanity, porcelain sink, stainless steel faucet, hot/ cold pressure water, under-sink cabinets, marine toilet, toilet paper holder, two large vanity mirrors, opening port, three towel racks, and privacy door. The Jack and Jill bathtub is located between the master stateroom and the guest head. The bath is equipped with optional stainless steel shower head, stainless steel bathtub faucet, hot/ cold pressure water, and two large outside tub grab bars. The guest head has doors on three sides, including access from guest stateroom, access from Jack and Jill bathtub, and access from galley. The guest head is equipped with vanity, porcelain sink, stainless steel faucet, hot/ cold pressure water, under-sink cabinets, marine toilet, toilet paper holder, large vanity mirror, opening port, and three towel racks. The guest stateroom is equipped with double berth, slide-to-open window, over-berth electrical cabinet, wardrobe/ storage cabinet, forward access to guest head, and starboard privacy door (enters to galley).

From down full service galley, one climbs up steps to open layout pilothouse/ saloon. The pilothouse saloon is equipped with full instrumentation helm, overhead helm storage locker, under-dash helm storage locker, under-sole helm storage compartment, convertible dinette/ queen-size berth (custom table has hydraulic lift for conversion to berth), three under-dinette storage compartments, L-shaped wet bar, porcelain sink, stainless steel faucet, hot/ cold pressure water, icemaker, entertainment center, 360-degree ocean view picture windows (side windows are sliders), overhead teak grab bar, and lockable companionway door to aft deck.

Galley Equipment: The U-shaped full service galley is located three steps down forward of pilothouse/ saloon. Galley equipment includes newer Nova Kool 12-volt DC/ 110-volt AC refrigerator/ freezer, Princess three-burner 110-volt AC stove/ oven, stovetop cover, Whirlpool Time Master microwave oven, dual stainless steel sink, stainless steel faucet, hot/ cold pressure water, slide-to-open window, counter space, eight utensil drawers, four under-sink cabinets, pull-out garbage bin, reach-in cool pantry, paper towel holder, over-counter cabinet, and over-counter pantry cubby.

Electronic and Navigational Gear: Two helm stations are provided: pilothouse helm and flybridge helm. The pilothouse helm is equipped with two push-start ignitions, two dual forward/ reverse throttle sets, stainless steel steering wheel, two windshield wipers, trim tab controls, dash mounted gauges, and dash mounted electronics. Pilothouse helm gauges include two oil, two temperature, two volt, two fuel level, two RPM, and two hour meters. The flybridge helm is equipped with two key-start ignitions, two dual forward/ reverse throttle sets, stainless steel steering wheel, dash mounted gauges, and dash mounted electronics. Flybridge helm gauges include two oil, two volt, two temperature, two exhaust, and two turbo boost. Electrical/Gas/Plumbing: The boat is equipped with both 12-volt DC and 110-volt AC electrical system. Electrical features include eight marine batteries, wooden battery boxes with lids, shore power inlet, 50? ship-to-shore power cord, Lester-Power model 9065 charger/ converter, Trace 2 kW impulse phase inverter, Onan 8 kW generator, Professional Mariner 60-amp/ 4-bank charging system, DC control panel, AC control panel, Perko battery isolator switch, three crossover Guest battery switches, and battery indicator lights. Generator control panel located at helm includes oil gauge, temperature gauge, and voltmeter.

Water systems include brand new 70-gallon polyurethane freshwater tank, on-deck freshwater fill, 36-gallon polyurethane holding tank, on-deck holding tank pump-out, pressure freshwater to cabin and deck, water maker (16-gallon-per-hour output), hot water heater, and both automatic/ manual bilge pumps. Both heads are equipped with electric marine toilets and y-valves for overboard and holding tank capabilities.

Hull and Deck Gear: The hull is built of fiberglass, and the decks are fiberglass with non-skid surfacing. Deck areas include deck at bow, large foredeck over cabin, walkaround side decks, aft sport deck, flybridge, and sundeck (aft of flybridge). Forward deck gear includes stainless steel wrap around bow rail, two stainless steel dual-fender racks, three stainless steel deck cleats, electric dinghy hoist, dinghy mount, foredeck mounted spotlight, two stainless steel grab bars around pilothouse, and double life lines/ stainless steel stanchions around side decks. The aft deck has integral boarding steps (port and starboard), hardtop (sundeck is above), forward stainless steel ladder to flybridge, forward access to engine compartment, cocktail table with built-in drink holders, raised teak-capped gunwales, vinyl covered gunwale padding, three under-deck lazarettos (access to running gear, generator, and dry storage), deck shower outlet, deck washdown hose outlet, two stainless steel deck cleats, transom door, full-size swim step, and stainless steel retractable swim ladder. The flybridge is equipped with full instrumentation helm, swivel helm seat, four in-dash cup holders, two cushioned passenger seats to port, starboard L-shaped convertible settee/ single berth, stainless steel railing, and radar arch (over flybridge). The sundeck is equipped with stainless steel railing. Anchor gear includes 35-lb. CQR bow anchor, chain, rode, bow pulpit, built-in anchor mount, built-in anchor roller, and twin electric anchor winch with foot switches. Safety gear includes six PFD?s two fire extinguishers, flare kit, first aid kit, docking line, and fenders. Canvas inventory includes full canvas/ eisenglass flybridge enclosure, mesh sundeck wind-break (rail enclosure), aft deck canvas/ eisenglass enclosure, spotlight cover, and dinghy cover.

Equipment/Engine Details: The boat package includes Avon 11? inflatable hard bottom dinghy. Dinghy features include 28 HP Evinrude outboard motor, electric start, forward console steering station, sport steering wheel, and cushioned bench-style seat.

Engine Details: Power package includes twin 175 HP US Marine Turbocharged/ Intercooled Hino diesel inboards engines with 850 hours. The intercoolers are valuable Hino engine add-ons that make the engines operate more efficiently and with less wear and tear. You won?t find intercoolers on many other boats. The boat cruises at 14 knots and reaches maximum speed of 17-18 knots. Other engine features include 300-gallon aluminum fuel tank, hydraulic steering, and two stainless steel hydraulic trim tabs.

The engine compartment is located under the raised pilothouse/ saloon. Engine compartment features include access door at eye level (from aft deck to port engine/ battery banks), under-sole access hatch (from saloon area to starboard engine), and Fireboy Halon 1301 fire safety system. Port and starboard lazarettos provide access to running gear, and middle lazaretto provides access to generator. The under-deck lazarettos have hydraulic lifters that keep them in place while open. Bilge areas in engine room and lazarettos are freshly painted.
